Refinishing & Staining

If you love the appearance of your existing stairs and railings but want to refresh their look, they can be re-sanded and refinished in a color of your choice. 

Our advanced equipment, featuring HEPA filter technology, ensures a virtually dust-free process, keeping your home clean during the refinishing. We also offer custom stain matching to seamlessly blend with your new or existing flooring.

Stair Capping

We use custom-made, one-piece oak or maple capping wood treads that can fit any step size or shape. 

Natural variations in color and grain occur due to the wood's species, age, and exposure to sunlight. While we strive to minimize natural variations in color and grain, these unique characteristics enhance your flooring or stairs, and any replacements will come at an additional cost.

Wrought Iron Spindles

Choose from a wide variety of traditional, transitional, and modern wrought iron spindles to enhance the style and character of your staircase. 

Available in numerous colors, shapes, and designs, you can select the perfect spindles to match your aesthetic. Options include both hollow and solid spindles to suit your needs.

 

 

Posts & Handrails

Our custom, Canadian-made products are available in oak or maple, and offered in various designs. 

You can choose from a wide range of sizes and profiles for custom handrails, including specially ordered curved handrails, which take 2-3+ weeks. Additionally, custom nosing is available in both straight and curved options.

Custom Stain Matching

Stain matching will be done using an owner-provided sample of existing flooring or railing, with high-quality stains from a reputable GTA store. 

Options vary by wood species, desired color, and protection level, with some newer colors needing a two-tone process. While we strive to minimize natural variations in color and grain, these unique characteristics enhance your flooring or stairs, and any replacements will come at an additional cost.
