Stain match will be performed on the owner provided sample of the new or existing flooring (or existing railing). A high quality custom stain match is obtained from a reputable high-end specialized store in located in GTA. Depending on the species of wood, the desired colour and the level of protection you want, there can be a lot of options on the table. Some of the newer flooring colors may also require a two tone staining process (staining process involves application of two different stains to achieve desirable color).

Since every piece of wood used to make your stairs or flooring is unique, it can take the wood stain differently (wood color and grain variation are natural occurrences due to species, age, grade and exposure to sunlight), making some boards lighter or darker than others. Although we will take a great care to reduce these variations, we will not be replacing these wood caps without an additional cost to the owner. All these are naturally occurring characteristics of the wood that contribute to the beauty of a finished floor or stairs.
